Welcome to the Women's Ministry home page, I am Gwen Adams, Women's pastor at ChangePoint. I would like to invite you to journey with us as we move toward our goal in Women's Ministry which is to help Women of Alaska walk in victory. |
How do we in Women's Ministry define “victory?” It is the ability to walk in TRUTH! As I consider what it involves to demonstrate modeling a victorious life I realize that it means I choose to live as the REAL ME with a REAL SAVIOR. My ability to model victory is only as good as my ability to live an honest transparent life in front of those God brings into my path. In that victory, others will see the POWER OF A CHRIST AT WORK IN A WOMAN WHO IS NEEDY OF THAT POWER EVERY MOMENT. There must be a change in our lives as a result of seeing a bigger vision of who God is and seeing Jesus revealed through the life of another person as we live in authenticity with one another. Only Jesus can change us. But as we walk with each other we must have the courage to keep pointing to Him as the one who has the power to change lives.

There are many opportunities to begin or continue your journey to a victorious life in Christ.
Gwen Adams and Kelly Hopp are greatly motivated and are prepared to guide you through the tools you will need to fortify godly relationships, through discipleship. This remarkable team will be leading Life on Life, which brings you through challenges many people encounter in their walk with God. Some of these challenges are done in a small group setting; others will challenge you and your beliefs as you reflect on them with God alone by your side. Life on Life is designed to launch you into a life of deep spiritual connections with other women and into a deeper intimacy with God. This class begins January 29th at 5:30pm. Click here to register

The study on James is being led by Ann Anderson. This study compels us to face the implications of faith. It will inspire you to put your faith into action. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. This class begins Feb 15, at 9:30 am.Click here to register.

Join us as we raise the ChangePoint roof and celebrate God at RefresHer! 4 times a year, women from across Alaska join together to laugh, cry, worship, and eat as God embraces each woman who attends with a message meant just for them. On December 3rd we had a RefresHer tea. There was beautiful Christmas music, lovely decorated tables, delectable luncheon goodies and powerful authentic message. It is a time to be a part of and join in on what God is doing in the hearts of women across Alaska. Come connect with friends and make new ones at the next RefresHer, February 10th at 6:30pm.
